The Cape Sporting Rifle Club is one of the oldest private shooting clubs in South Africa and was established for the enjoyment of members and their guests.
We provide exciting and memorable shooting experiences for people of all ages and abilities.
We are proud to be affiliate to WCSU and SAGA. We offer our shooting range facility only to individuals on a club membership basis, either temporary or annual.
Membership allows you to invite friends who have already had instruction in the safe handling of firearms and hold a competency certificate in the use of a handgun in terms of the Firearms Control Act, 2000 (Act 60 of 2000) to join you on the range to shoot.
There are trophies to be won at the end of the year at the last club shoot/ year end function.
The club has a strong social side and a vibrant club atmosphere. We offer safe, family fun for all ages.
We do it because we enjoy the challenge of the sports, because we enjoy each other’s company, and because shooting is great fun.
